Only 16 dealerships can sell, service 2019 Toyota Supra in PH

Thinking about getting or reserving an all-new Toyota Supra soon? Well with Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) recently launching the fifth-generation model, the company will surely have its hands full.

But aside from filling out the ordering books and plotting the delivery dates of each unit, there's the matter regarding as to which dealerships will be able to handle servicing each one, as well as offer aftersales support for the Supra.

We're happy to report that TMP has confirmed that there are a number of GR Performance-certified dealerships in the country. A total of 16 dealerships were chosen nationwide that will retail, as well as provide aftersales care and service for the 2019 Supra.

Starting in Metro Manila, the Toyota dealerships that are GR Performance-certified include: Alabang, Commonwealth, Makati, Manila Bay, Otis, Pasong Tamo, and Quezon Avenue. Over to Luzon dealerships, Bacoor, Batangas, Calamba, La Union, San Fernando, and San Pablo have been authorized by TMP.

In the Visayas Region, Toyota accredited its Cebu and Mabolo dealerships to handle retail and servicing of the A90 Supra. Last but not the least is Toyota Davao who is the only retailer and service center for the all-new Supra in Mindanao.

With only a handful of certified showrooms that carry the flagship sports coupe, customers better choose as to where they will buy or have their Supra serviced in the long run.

In review, the 2019 Toyota Supra is powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six derived from BMW. It puts out 335 PS along with a healthy 500 Nm of torque. Power is then sent to an eight-speed automatic transmission that drives the rear wheels. 0 – 100 km/h is swiftly achieved in only 4.3 seconds.

Depending on the color, the Supra's price range spans from Php 4,990,000 all the way to Php 5,090,000.
