Purosangue Multiverse: Xiaomi YU7 looks like Ferrari's super SUV
Xiaomi YU7 has 690 PS and range of up to 800 kilometers

By now, you’ve probably seen or heard about Chinese tech giant Xiaomi and its first-ever electric vehicle, the SU7. The all-electric sedan was revealed in China earlier this year, and we’ve even spotted one roaming Philippine roads just recently.
The SU7 marked Xiaomi’s entry into the EV segment, and now they have followed it up with an all-electric SUV called the YU7.

Xiaomi revealed some official pictures just after the Chinese MIIT published its monthly list, and we kind of noticed the YU7’s striking looks closely resemble a super SUV made in Maranello – the Ferrari Purosangue.
While the front end of the YU7 appears similar to the SU7 sedan, it’s the rear quarter bulges and the roofline that is Purosangue-esque. When viewed from the rear-quarter angle, the Purosangue and the YU7 wear different LED taillights but the shapes of the body do indeed closely resemble each other.

Perhaps, the most noticeable difference is the lack of quad exhaust pipes on the YU7, since it does not pack a V12 under its front hood. What the YU7 has is a pair of electric motors that combine for 690 PS, which is not too far off the 725 PS that the Purosangue’s V12 is putting out.
Size-wise, the YU7 measures almost the same as the SU7 sedan when it comes to length (4999mm on the YU7 vs 4997mm on the SU7), but is wider at 1996 mm, and taller at 1600 mm. The wheelbase is the same at 3000mm, suggesting that the YU7 could be sitting on the same EV platform as the SU7.

Xiaomi is launching the YU7 by around June or July 2025 and is designed to compete against the Tesla Model Y SUV.
