2022 Raize: Toyota PH releases official specs and prices

Prices, specs, and features of all-new Raize now live on TMP's website

After opening the reservation books to the public yesterday, it seems Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) couldn't wait to let people know about the Raize. That's because the automaker has fully revealed the vehicle online.

That's right, TMP's website for the 2022 Raize is now live, giving the public a chance to see for themselves the specs, features, colors, and even the prices of the all-new crossover.

Everything from the vehicle's dimensions, interior features, exterior equipment, including the engine specs are available on the TMP website. It also includes several press pictures that show the Raize's sporty design, the interior, and the digital instrument panel.

Those that are looking to buy an all-new Raize can also check for available financing plans, estimated computations, as well as the monthly payable amount, depending on the terms.

The Raize features a stylish and sporty exterior that gets a distinct pair of headlights, a massive mesh-type grille, LED daytime running lights, and halogen foglights. The rear, meanwhile, comes with an aggressive bumper, sleek combination LED taillights, a tailgate garnish, and a roof spoiler.

Size-wise, the all-new Raize measures 4030mm long, 1710mm wide, and 1605mm tall. It also has a wheelbase of 2525mm and a ground clearance of 200mm. Depending on the variant, the Raize can roll on 17-inch alloy wheels with 205/60 tires or 16-inch wheels with 205/65 tires.

Inside, all versions of the Raize come with a touchscreen infotainment system. The range-topping 1.0 Turbo does get a bigger 9-inch screen, while 1.2-liter models come with a smaller 8-inch display. Despite the size difference, both head units have Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, USB, Bluetooth, AM/FM radio, and voice command. The 1.0 Turbo and 1.2 G come with 6 speakers while the 1.2 E variants only get 4 speakers.

The 1.2 E and 1.2 G versions get fabric seats while the 1.0 Turbo comes exclusively with fabric-leather upholstery, along with a leather-wrapped steering wheel. A fully-digital gauge cluster and multi-info display come standard on the 1.0 Turbo and 1.2 G models for added convenience. Meanwhile, the 1.2 E variants only come with traditional gauges.

Other notable features available in the Raize include 60:40 split rear seats, a tonneau cover for the back, economy meter, electronic power steering, paddle shifters (1.0 Turbo only), digital air-conditioning system (auto-climate control on the 1.0 Turbo), speed-sensing door locks, and push-button start.

Under the hood, the Raize is available with two engines. The base model gets a naturally-aspirated 1.2-liter WA-VE three-cylinder that makes 88 PS at 6000 rpm along with 113 Nm of torque at 4500 rpm. The other motor is the 1.0-liter 1KR-VET turbocharged inline-three that produces 98 PS at 6000 rpm and 140 Nm of torque at 2400 – 4000 rpm.

The 1.2-liter engine is available with either a five-speed manual or a CVT. Meanwhile, the 1.0-liter turbocharged motor pairs exclusively to a CVT. It has a fuel capacity of 36-liters and sits on front MacPherson struts and rear torsion beams.

When it comes to safety, all variants of the Raize come with the following; dual front airbags, anti-lock brakes, vehicle stability control, hill-start assist, rear parking sensors, and engine immobilizer. Extra safety features that are only available on the Turbo model include seven airbags, an alarm system, a reverse camera, power-folding side mirrors, and front parking sensors.

For added security, the 1.0-liter Turbo comes with intelligent driver aids. These include a blind-spot monitor and rear-cross traffic alert.

Fans of bright colors will be happy to know that the Raize comes in several eye-catching hues. On the top spec 1.0 Turbo, the Raize is available in a two-tone exterior paint complete with a black roof. These include Turquoise Mica Metallic, White Pearl, and Yellow.

Over to the 1.2 G CVT, it comes in Red 2, Gray Metallic, and Silver Metallic. Last but not least, the 1.2 E versions will only come in the aforementioned Silver and Gray finishes.
