VinFast PH awards winners of EV design voting contest
VinFast EV design voting contest gathered 20,000 participants across PH

VinFast has presented 303 prizes worth a total of PHP 5.1 million to the most outstanding and lucky participants in its electric vehicle design voting contest for the Philippine market titled PiliPinas: Your Vote, Your Design for the Future Filipino Drive.
With more than 20,000 participants, this reflects the strong appeal of VinFast models and reinforces that green mobility is becoming an essential and sensible choice in the Philippines.
During the live broadcast awards ceremony, VinFast presented three grand prizes worth PHP 150,000 each for participants who correctly predicted the most favoured design and the total number of votes. There were also 20 prizes worth 40,000 to 80,000 pesos each for the closest predictions for the VF 5, VF 6, VF 7, VF 8 and VF 9 results.

The program also offered 130 gifts worth 15,000 pesos each for 130 individuals who submitted their own design concepts, along with 150 lucky draw gifts worth 10,000 pesos each for participants who took part in the voting. A total of 303 prizes were awarded, with a combined value of 5.1 million pesos.
The PiliPinas electric vehicle design voting contest ran for two weeks from October 24 to November 7. It attracted more than 20,000 votes, thousands of direct participants and more than one hundred unique design submissions from across large and small islands throughout the Philippines.
For each model line, VF 5, VF 6, VF 7, VF 8 and VF 9, VinFast showcased ten interior and exterior design options. These were entirely new concepts developed by VinFast’s global creative team to offer a wide range of styles.
People across the Philippines enthusiastically voted for the designs they liked most to share their preferences with VinFast and express their personal tastes. The contest illustrated how Filipinos envision the electric vehicles they want to own and how these designs could shape the future of transportation in the country.
Fairness and transparency were key pillars of the contest. All fifty official design options, including detailed interior and exterior visuals, were published so that people could vote independently and objectively. Voting was made accessible both online and through thirty physical ballot boxes placed nationwide.
The high turnout and the close competition among design options highlight the strong appeal of the new design portfolio and VinFast’s deep understanding of Philippine consumer tastes. It also reflects a strong sense of creativity and community pride as people directly influenced the creation of potential future VinFast household models.
Mr. Antonio Zara, CEO of VinFast Southeast Asia, stated: “With our customer-centric philosophy, VinFast wants Filipinos to become true co-creators of the electric vehicles that will soon be seen on Philippine streets. Each and every selection and idea submitted inspires us to develop vehicles that reflect the Filipino spirit: resilient, steadfast and always striving for a better future.”
