Refreshed 2024 Isuzu D-Max could get to PH some time next year
A few days ago, Isuzu officially revealed the 2024 D-Max facelift in Bangkok, Thailand. This marks the regional debut of the updated pickup truck in Southeast Asia. Not only did the automaker give the D-Max a fresh new face, but they also made some key changes inside the pickup's interior like a new digital cluster, steering wheel paddle shifters, and more.
But when can we expect the refreshed Isuzu D-Max to make its way here? During the launch of the D-Max Limited last night, we managed to ask some executives when will the updated pickup truck arrive in the country.
According to our contacts who wish to remain anonymous, the 2024 D-Max refresh could arrive sometime next year. The earliest possible time it could make its way here is Q1 2024. However, our sources added that the most realistic timeline is that it may enter the Philippine market around Q2 of 2024.
Some of you may be wondering why will it take some time before the facelifted D-Max gets here in the Philippines. Well, for starters, Thailand serves as the production hub for Isuzu's pickup truck. Since it's made in The Land of Smiles, it's understandable that they will be the first ones to get their hands on it. There's also the matter that there are still units of the current D-Max still being sold by local dealerships.
Since we still have to wait for the 2024 Isuzu D-Max facelift to get here, all we can do for now is patiently wait for its arrival. However, we will be keeping a close eye on possible sightings or government approvals should it arrive here in the Philippines earlier than expected.
