The EV will have an NEDC range of 403 km and will come with a 7kW home wall charger. It will also come with a slower 3.3kW charging cable compatible with 220v type B wall outlets.
Other features of the electric vehicle will be a 15.6-inch touchscreen for navigation and driving controls, a built-in front dash camera, a 360-degree camera with a parking recording function, and a UV sanitizing device with CN95 air filters. The W5 will also have safety technology built-in namely, driver assist, lane departure, blind spot assist, hill hold/hill descent, and will highlight three levels of energy regeneration. The EV crossover is priced at PHP 2.584 million and will have three driving modes Normal, Sport, and Eco.
The vehicle will be available at their showroom located at the TDG In.Hub Building, AFP-RSBS Industrial Park in Western Bicutan, Taguig City. WM has promised the local market a first-of-its-kind service and lifestyle facility which will help educate the market on sustainability and how EVs impact the environment. The company will also cater to all after-sales requirements of the WM electric vehicles and offer a full-service workshop.
With the welcome addition of the Weltmeister W5 to the ever-growing local EV lineup, Filipinos will have more choices to go green.
