2024 Toyota Yaris Cross starts at PHP 1.199M; Hybrid available
Toyota PH launching 2024 Yaris Cross with 1.5L hybrid and non-hybrid variants

It seems like we're not the only ones excited about the all-new Yaris Cross. After getting the first exclusive images of the crossover, more of our friends were happy to share some more information about Toyota's upcoming model including prices after we inquired.
There will be four variants of the all-new Yaris Cross based on the photos we saw. All of the variants will be powered by the familiar 1.5-liter 2NR engine, but the top-of-the-line mode will be supplemented by an electric motor drive system. This means Toyota will be offering the Yaris Cross in both hybrid and non-hybrid forms.

The non-hybrid Yaris Cross has the 2NR-VE. If that engine rings a bell, it's because that is the same engine powering the Vios. It makes 106 PS and 138 Nm of torque. Unfortunately, there's no manual transmission option, so all non-hybrid Yaris Cross units will have a CVT.
On the hybrid front, the top-spec Yaris Cross HEV will see TMP debut the 2NR-VEX for the first time. The engine alone makes 91 PS and 121 Nm of torque, but the lithium-ion powered electric motor will provide an extra 89 PS and 141 Nm of torque. Like the non-hybrid variants, the Yaris Cross HEV's engine is paired with a CVT.

As we've previously reported from their government approval, the non-hybrid Yaris Cross is expected to have a curb weight of around 1250 kg, while the hybrid will be about a hundred kilos heavier because of its lithium-ion batteries. Still, that's a good upgrade as many hybrids prior to the Yaris Cross HEV have older nickel metal hydride (NiMH) battery packs.

The Yaris Cross measures 4,310mm long, 1,770mm wide, and 1,615mm tall. All variants will be fitted with 18-inch machine-finished alloys. It will also be equipped with disc brakes on both axles.
The Yaris Cross will be equipped with Toyota Safety Sense suite (Pre-Collision System, Automatic High Beam, Lane Tracing Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control) and a Panoramic View Monitor which will be incorporated into the 10.1" display audio across all variants.

Toyota Motor Philippines has released official pricing for the new Yaris Cross and it is as follows:
2024 Toyota Yaris Cross HEV – PHP 1,598,000
2024 Toyota Yaris Cross 1.5V CVT 2-Tone – PHP 1,306,000
