Toyota Kinto One leasing service now available in Metro Manila - includes Vios, Fortuner, Rush, Corolla Altis
Almost two weeks ago, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) announced that they will soon be introducing a car leasing program that can be shared with other users. The program is named Kinto, it will serve as a subscription system that will allow customers to 'share' cars with other users without actually having to own a vehicle.
Now, Toyota Financial Services Philippines (TFSP) has officially launched it under the name Kinto One. The new program will allow customers to switch from car ownership to car "usership". With it, users can now move goods, go from point A to point B, or drive to work with a leased car from three to up to four years.
It is a full lease service package with no downpayment required. Instead, it has a fixed monthly subscription that covers vehicle registration, annual comprehensive insurance, and regular periodic and preventive maintenance. Once the lease term is completed, the customer simply returns the vehicle to TFSP for worry-free customer experience.
Kinto One is offering four car models in the leasing program. These include Vios 1.5 G CVT, Rush 1.5 G AT, Fortuner 4x2 G AT (Diesel), and the Corolla Altis 1.8 V Hybrid. A total of three mileage options are available for customers to choose from. Light Package covers 15,000 km/year, while Standard Package gives users 20,000 km/year. Finally, there's the Maximum Package which covers 30,000 km/year.
“Kinto is a step closer to realizing Toyota’s vision of Mobility for All. We would like to provide as much flexibility as possible to customers based on their lifestyle and preferences. We recognize that the next generation has a need for car usage, but not necessarily in the form of vehicle ownership. Kinto makes it easy for them,” said Atsushi Murakami, president of TFSP.
With the COVID-19 pandemic affecting the economy, as well as businesses across the country, some who wished to buy a car had to cancel or postpone their plans in buying one. But with Kinto One, they can now get a car of their own for a set amount of time without having to deal with car ownership maintenance, as well as mortgage payments.
The Kinto One program is now available in all Metro Manila dealerships starting today, June 26, 2020.
