LTO restores LTMS
The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has restored its Land Transportation Management System (LTMS) as the agency transitioned away from its legacy STRADCOM IT system.
LTO Chief, Markus Lacanilao, had ordered all agency offices to stop using STRADCOM and transition exclusively to the LTMS last week.
The agency’s technical team confirmed on Tuesday that the LTMS was back online, allowing LTO offices to resume processing transactions for driver’s licenses, vehicle registration, Certificate of Stock Report (CSR), and miscellaneous services.
The shift to the LTMS also means motorists will no longer be charged the PHP 169.06 computer fee previously collected for transactions processed through the STRADCOM system.
Additionally, with the LTMS back online, motorists can log into the portal anytime and anywhere to access their digital driver’s license, manage their profile, view LTO’s driver learning materials, and use other available online services.
The LTO said it will continue monitoring the LTMS to ensure uninterrupted service for the motoring public.
