Suzuki Philippines has officially launched the seven-seater Ertiga at the Bellevue Hotel in Alabang today.
Dubbed as a Life Utility Vehicle (LUV), Suzuki says the all-new Ertiga combines the maneuverability and agility of a compact car with the spacious interior of an MPV.
“The all-new Ertiga is another testament to Suzuki’s renowned engineering leadership and legacy in manufacturing compact cars. We are bringing in the all-new Ertiga as our latest entry in the MPV segment and we are confident our latest offering will meet, and even exceed, the expectations of our customers,” said Suzuki Philippines President Hiroshi Suzukia.
The seven-seater LUV Ertiga has an overall length of 4,265mm; a width of 1,695mm; and a height of 1,685mm. The wheelbase of the vehicle measures at 2,740mm with a minimum ground clearance of 185mm.
The Ertiga is infused with aerodynamic design as seen on the lines that surrounds the exterior of the vehicle. The front fascia has a sweeping headlamps, a dynamic grille and a built-in fog lamps for the GLX variant . Moreover, the side mirrors are designed with turn signals as standard.
The rear bumper of the Ertiga is incorporated with reflectors and sits on a 15-inch alloy wheels. It also has a combination taillamps and a rear-center stop lamp.
Inside, the Ertiga can easily accommodate up to seven occupants with 113 liters of space to spare for luggage. It also has a generous legroom and a second row air-conditioning system to provide cool air for the rear occupants.
It features an SRS dual front seat airbags as standard, a three-point ELR seatbelts and ABS with EDB.
The Suzuki Ertiga is powered by a 1.4-liter gasoline engine that delivers 96 PS @ 6,000 rpm with 130 Nm of torque @ 4,000 rpm. It has an average fuel mileage as per Maruti Suzuki India test results of 16.02 km/l.
Ertiga will be available in Serene Blue, Firebrick Red, Granite Grey, Silky Silver, Superior White and Dusky Brown colors.
The Ertiga is already available in all Suzuki dealerships nationwide in 4 variants.
